74:30 PROJECT

App

Fractal Quran

The official app of the 74:30 Project: the Fractal Edition reader, the live verification suite, and the daily tools of worship. Free forever, no ads, no accounts, and your location never leaves your device.

Fractal Quran puts the whole project in your pocket. The complete Fractal Edition, Arabic and English, reads offline. The verification suite recomputes the published findings on your device, on the bundled text, exactly as the live tools on this site do. And the practical instruments of the day, prayer times, qibla, and the Hijri calendar, are calculated where they should be calculated: on the phone in your hand, and nowhere else.

The principles

Free forever

No price, no subscription, no unlockables. No payment is asked, and none is accepted.

No ads

Nothing is promoted, sponsored, or inserted. The text is the product, and it is not for sale.

No accounts

Nothing to sign up for and nothing to log in to. Open the app and read.

No data collection

No analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifiers. The iOS privacy label target is "Data Not Collected."

Your location never leaves your device

Some of the most downloaded Quran apps have been caught selling their users' location data to brokers. That is worth saying plainly, because it is the reason this app is built the way it is. Fractal Quran has nothing to sell: your location is read on your device, used on your device to calculate prayer times and qibla direction, and never transmitted, stored remotely, or shared. There is no server for it to go to.

What is in the app

Fractal Edition reader

The complete Quran, Arabic and English side by side, fully offline. The same text the published counts run on.

Verification suite

The three findings, recomputed live on your device with the same counting engine as this site. Watch the letters be counted and the totals land.

Prayer times

Each prayer shown as a window, from its start to its end, with multiple calculation methods. Computed on device.

Qibla

The direction of the Kaaba from where you stand, from your phone's own sensors.

Hijri calendar

Today's date and the months ahead, converted on device.

Ramadan mode

Suhoor and iftar timings and a month view, built on the same prayer window engine.

Reading plan

Finish the Quran at your own pace. The app keeps your place; the pace is yours.

Share as image

Any verse, typeset as a clean card and rendered on your device, ready to send.

In final testing. Store links go live at launch; the mailing list hears first.

Privacy, in full

Privacy is not a settings page here; it is the architecture. The app collects nothing: no accounts, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, no third-party SDKs watching over your shoulder. Everything except the mailing list signup and outbound links works with no network connection at all. The location permission is "while using" only, and its purpose string says exactly what happens: "Your location is used on your device to calculate prayer times and Qibla direction. It is never sent anywhere." If you never open the prayer or qibla screens, the app never asks for your location at all.

The verification suite runs on text bundled inside the app, so the counts you watch are computed in your hand, not reported from a server. The same claims, the same engine, and the same numbers are runnable on this site, and the counting code is public at github.com/7430project/quran-fractal.
